We used to always put, "Bring your dancin' shoes!" on our posters, and that epitomizes what the Blue Healers try to bring to our gigs. Within the vast arena of "classic rock," the Healers have always chosen a good mix of the well-known and the slightly (or not-so-slightly) obscure. From well-worn chestnuts that just refuse to die like CCR's "Green River" to blues-infused non singles like ZZ Top's "Waitin' on the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago," the Healer set list is long, lean and just plain fun. Any band that can turn "Mustang Sally" into a polka on demand, or bastardize "Smoke on the Water" into "Slow Motion Walter (the Fire Engine Guy)" and live to tell about it, must be doing something right.
